          Journey is always pleasant to Al. Occasional journey gives pleasure A anybody but usual journey may no give pleasure. A journey by bus is specially very pleasant and enjoyable to me. A journey which is made by motor-bus is called a journey by bus. A few days ago, I made a journey by bus from Comilla to Chittagong.

       During the last winter vacation, one of my friends requested me to attend his sister's marriage ceremony at Chittagong. So I got a chance to make a journey by bus. I accepted the invitation gladly. Two other friends joined me. On the fixed day we reached Comilla bus station at 7 am. The station was very crowded.

       Somehow we managed to buy our tickets. After a few minutes, the bus began to move on. At first the bus moved on slowly. Then it began to run in full speed. I kept looking outside through the window. The sun was rising with all its splendid beauty. The bus was passing through the green fields. Dew drops on soft green grass were glittering like pearls. Trees and houses seemed to run behind. We saw the farmers working in the field. Cattle were grazing here and there.

       I enjoyed these scenes and sights with cheerful mind. The bus stopped at a few big stations. We bought boiled eggs, bananas, magazines etc from the hawkers. When the bus started from Feni station, I saw the hills of Chittagong. On the right I saw the vast sheet of water of the Bay of Bengal. All these pleased me very much. At last the bus reached Chittagong at 1.5 pm.

       We got down from the bus at the station and saw my friend. He came to receive us. He became very glad to see us. We got on a taxi with him and reached our destination. It was the most pleasant journey in my life. The journey gave me much pleasure. I enjoyed it to much that the memory of the journey will remain ever fresh in my heart.

A JOURNEY BY BOAT I MADE

          Bangladesh is a land of rivers. So it is very easy to enjoy a journey by boat here. Journey by boat is very interesting and enjoyable in our country.

        It was the month of Powsh. The river was calm and quiet. My father asked me to go to my sister's house at Nabinagar, 12 kilo-metres away from our house. So I got a chance to make a journey by boat. Two other friends joined with me.

        We hired a nice looking boat. On the fixed day the boatman came with one of his helpers, We started our journey from home at 10 am. The sky was clear. The weather was very fresh. The river was calm and full to the brim. At first the boatman plies the boat with oars. When the wind was favorable, they set sail. There were small waves in the river. The boat was going along in the river. The boat began to dance with the waves. The boatmen were singing. It was a Bhatial, song. It filled us with joy.

        The surrounding sights were very charming. We enjoyed the scenery of the fiver. We saw many boas big and small plying up and down. Fisherman was catching fish in the river. Boys and girls were swimming. Women were going home with jars filled with water. There were green fields on both sides to the river. Cattle were grazing there. Children were seen at the bathing Ghats. The ripen paddy were in the fields on the both sides of the river. At about 3 pm. we reached the ghat of my sister's house. My sister was very glad to see us.

        A journey by boat is really it pleasant one. It was the most pleasant journey in my life. I enjoyed it very much. The memory of the journey will remain ever fresh my heart.
